[Maine-birds] Sabattus Pond update

Hello All,

Numbers of shorebirds at the South End beach of Sabattus Pond are increasing.  Last night (after construction crews left) 22 Least Sandpipers (former high 4), 2 Semi-palmated Sandpipers were new.

On Friday Beth and I paddled from the north end Bull's Run road.  Highlights were multiple Marsh Wrens, a Peregrine Falcon and a fly over Black-bellied Plover.

Paving of route 126 is likely to limit access to beach during work hours.
