[Maine-birds] This Week's Highlights, 7/29-8/4

Hi all,

A few observations of note over the past seven days included:

-  12 species of shorebirds led by 500+ Semipalmated Sandpipers and also including 1 AMERICAN OYSTERCATCHER, Pine Point, Scarborough, 7/30.

- 3 Manx and 2+ Cory's Shearwaters, East Point, Biddeford Pool, 7/31 (with Terez Fraser, John Lorenc, and Pat Moynahan).

- 1 Fish Crow, Wass's Hot Dogs, Main Street, Rockland, 8/1 (with Jeannette).

- 1 Prairie Warbler, Mullin's Head Park, North Haven, 8/2 (photo on store's Facebook page; with Jeannette).

- 1 continuing BLACK-NECKED STILT, Weskeag Marsh, 8/2 (photo on store Facebook page; with Jeannette).

- 1 BLACK SCOTER and 1 Cory's Shearwater, The Nubble, Cape Neddick, 8/3.
