Hi Don,
That banded Great Egret has been there since at least last Thursday. I hunted around online and it looks like it was banded in Ontario in the 2010-2015 range. I'd be interested to know if you find out any specifics.

--This morning I photographed a great egret with two red legs bands on left leg (upper band read: 84T.) I'll check with the Bandedbirds site. The stilt was not present in the front roadside pools at 7 am, but could have been with other egrets further down marsh. Stilt sandpiper, pectoral, and the usual species mix in the pools. A flock of 350-400 peeps at Thomaston mudflats yesterday afternoon.
