[Maine-birds] Query about Purple Martin colony on Mousam estuary

I'm headed for parts south and among other things will be checking again for the PUMA colony.

Tried last week and saw a group of martin gourds about halfway down from Route 9 along the Abandoned Rail Trail and was momentarily duped by a single plastic bird. No live birds.

Where is the colony people are referring to?

I see markers along Atlantic Circle. Are people looking out over the marsh from there or is there something directly behind homes?
