[Maine-birds] This Week's Highlights and New Arrivals, 5/5-5/11.

Hi all,

My observations of note over the past seven days included the following:

- 11 species of warblers led by 6 Palm and 4 Black-and-white, Florida Lake Park, Freeport, 5/5 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk group).

- 1 Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Fort Foster, Kittery, 5/8 (with Jeannette).

- 1 Harlequin Duck, The Nubble, York, 5/8 (with Jeannette). 

- 1 Blue-gray Gnatcatcher,Wells Reserve, 5/8 (with Jeannette).

- 14 species of warblers led by 25+ Yellow-rumped, 10+ Northern Parulas, and 10 Common Yellowthroats, Florida Lake Park, 5/9 (with Noah Gibb).

- 14 species of warblers led by 22 Yellow-rumped Warblers and 11 Black-and-white Warblers, Florida Lake Park, 5/10.

- 18 species of warblers led by 16 Black-and-white and 13 Yellow-rumped, Florida Lake Park, 5/11.

And my personal FOY's this week were as follows:

- 1 Black-throated Blue Warbler, Florida Lake Park, 5/5 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk group).

- 1 Nashville Warbler, Florida Lake Park, 5/5 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk group).

- 1 Magnolia Warbler, Florida Lake Park, 5/5 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk group).

- 1 Ruby-throated Hummingbird, our yard in Pownal, 5/5.

- 1 Veery, Morgan Meadow WMA, 5/6.

- 2 Warbling Vireos, Morgan Meadow WMA, 5/6.

- 1 Chestnut-sided Warbler, Morgan Meadow WMA, 5/6.

- 1 Cape May Warbler, Biddeford Pool neighborhood, 5/7.

- 1 Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, Biddeford Pool neighborhood, 5/7.

- 73 Black-bellied Plovers, The Pool, Biddeford Pool, 5/7.

- 9 Willets, The Pool, 5/7.

- 1 Bobolink, Fort Foster, 5/8 (with Jeannette).

- 2 Least Sandpipers, Fort Foster, 5/8 (with Jeannette).

- 1 Baltimore Oriole, Legion Pond, Kittery, 5/8 (with Jeannette).

- 1 Common Tern, The Nubble, 5/8 (with Jeannette).

- 4 Rose-breasted Grosbeaks, Florida Lake Park, 5/9 (with Noah Gibb).

- 2 American Redstarts, Florida Lake Park, 5/10.

- 1 Wilson's Warbler, Florida Lake Park, 5/10.

- 1 Blackpoll Warbler, Florida Lake Park, 5/11 (with Noah Gibb and Jeannette).

- 1 Lincoln's Sparrow, Florida Lake Park, 5/11 (with Jeannette).
