Comments: A road trip back from Schoodic Education and Research Center and a few birds along the way.

Ring-billed Gull (Larus delawarensis) 700
this was a large group of Ring-billed Gull in several open fields foraging in the grass from the mud creek raod to over the flats road.

Yellow-bellied Sapsucker (Sphyrapicus varius) 1
Blue Jay (Cyanocitta cristata) 2
American Crow (Corvus brachyrhynchos) 15
Common Raven (Corvus corax) 2
European Starling (Sturnus vulgaris) 35 three groups along the way.

Comments: Steve Parks group from Colorado birding the northern and southern coast dealing with horrendous winds howling from the Northwest.... old man winter is approaching The FIRST RING-NECKED DUCK of the season

Comments: The cruise ship "Navigator" and an "Ocean Trail Hike" which was windy but in the Lee. Some excellent birds including "Jan van Gent" (Northern Gannet) The coolest thing today was two GRAY SEALS came up and gave us a few good looks in the scope.. What a treat to see these outer Island Pinneped.

Yellow-rumped Warbler (Setophaga coronata) 85 amazing when you call in a whole flock of Yellow-rumped Warblers and they respond with a group around to witness the event. Simple amazing how many birds came wo within 7 feet of the whole group. I love birds!! YRWB migrate along the Eastern shore of MDI finding shelter in the coastal forests along the Ocean Trail Path.
