[Maine-birds] Greater White-fronted Goose at Sebasticook Lake

Touring Carlton & Unity Ponds, and Sebasticook Lake with Bruce Barker turned up the following:

Carlton Pond-

A single Greater Scaup


Unity Pond-

somewhat surprised to find a pair of White-winged Scoters.

Also a PB Grebe, two Common Loons, and 210 Canada Geese


Sebasticook Lake

A Greater White-fronted Goose mingled with ~850 Canada Geese on the point north of the public boat landing in Newport.

45 Ruddy Ducks, a single female Bufflehead, three Am. Coots and three GW Teal were noted from the park area closest to Rt 7.  Ring-necked Duck and Hooded Mergansers, Mallards & a couple Am Black Ducks also enjoyed at this site today.
