Hi all -- took a late afternoon walk near Seawall in Acadia NP today. 8 late-ish Laughing Gulls lingered along the shore of the picnic area location, as they seem to do each year in this specific locale. Other goodies included 3 Yellow-rumped Warblers and 2 White-crowned Sparrows.
In Somesville, 2 Greater Yellowlegs, plus a small crowd of voracious Ring-billed Gulls feeding on a small migrating fish / eel (?) below the Somesville dam spillway.
Best,
Craig K
