[Maine-birds] Cherryfield Horned Larks

2-3 PM, Sandy and I took a ride into the blueberry barrens on Baseline Rd. (from Rte. 193), curving around to Ridge Rd. then back into town.

First couple of miles of Baseline is wooded:
Ruffed Grouse (1)
Dark-eyed Juncos (many)
Sparrows (many, but no good looks)

In the barrens:
Horned Lark (2 flocks, one 10-12, one 5-6; they were in the burned-over areas where the ground was quite bare; I did not see any buntings, longspurs or pipits with them)
American Robin (many; both in the burned areas and the unburned ones.)
