[Maine-birds] merlin hockey

Playing a little pond hockey with coworkers at lunch today, puck skips off the ice and bounces up onto the shore at the same instant a Merlin is cruising through.  Merlin noticing the movement stoops on the puck – only to notice at the last minute it is not bird flying but something else entirely.  Wouldn’t have tasted good anyway. 

 

I suppose a Merlin could only play for the Flyers?
