Around 7 a.m. the Rockland peregrine pair were actively hunting
pigeons near The Pearl restuarant on the waterfront. Hunting in
tandem, they worked to confuse and separate the pigeon flocks. I
stayed a few minutes and witnessed some amazing aerials with no kills
recorded. Several Cooper's hawks are also hammering the city pigeons.
Also 8 snow buntings in the stubble field next to Weskeag Farms stand
on Buttermilk.
