[Maine-birds] MEGU - yes

I observed the Thomaston MEW GULL on the eastward roof of building #7 at Lyman Morse Boatyard this morning. This building is directly attached to the waterfront docks. The gull remained from 6:10 - 7 a.m. before departing downriver as the tide dropped. I arrived back there around 12:30 p.m. and found no gulls on any of the nearby roofs. Mornings will probably be the most productive time to check. The boatyard staff seems cordial about birders on the property, but please remember the site is a busy working boatyard.
