[Maine-birds] Gardiner Indigo Bunting, Chimney Swifts, warblers

This evening Jeff and I had 35+ Yellow-rumped Warblers move through out yard in Gardiner. A single Pine Warbler sang nearby (we had our first yard migrant PIWA yesterday) and 5+ Palm Warblers as well. Ruby-crowned Kinglet singing. At least two Chimney Swifts overhead. Singing Savannah Sparrow - a nice surprise considering our in-town location.

This morning, we had a yard flock consisting of several YRWA, Northern Parula, Black-and-white Warbler, and a beautiful male Indigo Bunting.

Last evening while playing basketball in the fading light, we saw our first bat of the season, which by the silhouette appeared to be Myotis lucifugus (lLittle Brown Bat).
