[Maine-birds] Monhegan Island, 5/23 through 5/26 (yeah, there were other birds, too).

Hi all,

I spent a wonderful four days on Monhegan (the days out there are always wonderful) this past weekend - three days with my tour group, and on Monday, birding with Paul Doiron, Kristen Lindquist, and Jeannette.  Highlights for each of the days included:

5/23:
1 immature male SUMMER TANAGER
1 immature male Orchard Oriole

5/24:
1 immature male SUMMER TANAGER
1 immature male Orchard Oriole
1 Mourning Warbler (FOY)
1 Bay-breasted Warbler (FOY)

5/25:
1 BREWER'S SPARROW (you may have heard about this)
1 CLAY-COLORED SPARROW
1 immature male SUMMER TANAGER
1 adult male and 1 immature male Orchard Oriole
1 Common Nighthawk (FOY)
1 Gray-cheeked/Bicknell's Thrush (FOY)
3 Alder Flycatchers (FOY)

5/26:
1 BREWER'S SPARROW
1 adult male Orchard Oriole
1 Ruby-crowned Kinglet (late)
