[Maine-birds] West Paris Snowy Owl!

Because I saw the previous posts about a snowy on Rte 26 near W Paris, I kept my eyes peeled on the way over to VT today.  I was rewarded with the bird sitting on a wire overlooking the Moose Lake Brook!  It was less than 1 mile north of Snow Falls just before W Paris on Rte 26.   We got out of the car to have a look and attracted quite a few other cars stopping to see what all the fuss was about.  Apparently there was a recent article about this snowy in the Norway paper.
You'd think that after the snowy owl blitz this winter it would become a little " how-hum"...... but not really. Especially when I kept remembering that it was May 29!     Hubby got a few pictures...here's the link.
