What an incredible place. The sun broke through the clouds around 9ish, and the bugs started getting active, and that's when all the birds just went nuts.
I also went down to Estes Lobster House parking area, where I saw
Black-bellied Plover
Semipalmated Sandpiper
Common Tern
Common Tern
Common Eider
Ruby-throated Hummingbird (FOY fly-by)
the usual gulls
I had almost 60 species before noon--probably my best morning ever (outside of a birding festival!).
