[Maine-birds] Capisic Pond - Portland

I saw two otters at Capisic Pond this morning.  They were playing around in the cattails and in the open water, rolling around, diving, eating fish and disturbing numerous hidden birds.

At first I thought they where minks, but they were much bigger than the other minks I have seen and they clearly had stout tails which tapered to a point.

Has anyone else seen otters in Capisic?  Is that even possible?

Thanks

Nathan
