[Maine-birds] Upland Sandpiper, Beech Hill Preserve, Rockport; FOY warblers

Brian Willson heard yesterday and then photographed this morning an Upland Sandpiper near the top of Beech Hill in Rockport. This is one of only a handful of sightings of this species at this location that I'm aware of--the blueberry fields aren't quite big enough for them to stick around and try nesting there, but are apparently enticing enough as a spring stopover site.

FOY Black-and-white Warbler at Sears Island this afternoon. Also, 30+ White-throated Sparrows kicking around in the woods. 40+ Buffleheads lingering offshore, some rather vocal. Then, the thunderstorm hit.

FOY Black-throated Green Warbler in our yard in Camden, between storms.
