[Maine-birds] VERY interesting bird at Plum Island in MA

I know this isn't Maine, but on Monday around 0700 we were birding at Plum Island in NWR
and saw a bird I couldn't figure out.  Neither could any of the other (much heavier duty) birders
around me.
Looked like a cross between a Snowy Egret and a Little Blue Heron.
Many pictures were taken, but alas, not by me.

Later conclusion from the local experts was

"Poss hybrid heron/egret, from T mara-hawkwatch
Poss lucistic little blue or hybrid  t wetmore

Here's a screen shot from Tom Wetmore's site--but not sure it will open

Great fun to see a bird up close that you know is not in any bird book you have seen!
