[Maine-birds] White-crowned Sparrow and yellowlegs movement

Yesterday and today we were treated with brief encounters of a single White-crowned Sparrow under our feeders!

This evening as the tide came in to a mirror-slick Flat Bay we began to hear both Lesser and Greater Yellowlegs calling from around us and over the bay. We found some of them through our scopes - only silhouettes - in a cove right below us but the calls echoed back and forth from across and down the bay for several minutes.  It was apparent that there were many yellowlegs - this is the first time we have experienced a yellowlegs migration like this at Flat Bay.
