Re: [Maine-birds] MDI Great Egret

There was a Great Egret at Rogers Pond in Kennebunk on Tuesday. The first I've seen there. Expected GBHs were there today.Red-eyed Vireos are back singing all day.
Did I already say I had a bear break all my bird feeders last week. I live 6' from the woods; should know better than to feed birds except in winter!

Thanks to Carol Muth who reported a Great Egret at the Eagle Lake beaver pond in Acadia National Park. It was close to the road affording excellent viewing opportunities.
