Crisp and bright morning at Green Point. Highlights:
Sora - patch-bird
1 each, green- and blue-winged teal
Orange-crowned Warbler
Clay-colored Sparrow
up-tic of White throated Sparrows
6 other sparrows incl 49 Swamp Sparrows (clicker-count)
Carolina Wren - called at dawn
6 suspicious blackbirds

This bird strongly resembles the one photo'd by Doug H. on Monhegan yesterday (and the day before). If he photos another one today, this one is probably a different bird. Otherwise...it's tempting to speculate. If this bird is overturned, I'll let you know.
If you go - the bird was working through wild grape vines, draped over old apple trees at the corner of the upper orchard, just as the road slopes down to the cider house.
