Comments: The cruise ship Jewel on an "Ocean Trail Hike" Many Northern Gannet migrating along the shore made this a memorable trip. Another day of strong winds. The Whale watch Friendship V makes a close pass by the Shore Road.

Comments: Simon and Judith Hook from  England. Four Turkey Vultures were eating what appeared to be a domesticated chick carcass so we watched for a few minutes as the TV's fought over the scraps. Photos

Comments: Simon and Judith Hook from  England A Bald Eagle adult was roosting at Hamilton Pond and an excellent observation for my English friends. The Ring-necked flock is still present at the Western end of the Pond with Wood Duck Mallards and a few American Black Duck.

Comments: Simon and Judith Hook from  England A strong and steady Cold Northwesterly wind kept us close to the van and out of the wind. Many cool things like 270 Herring Gulls on the eastern point. A large flock of White-winged Scoter are some of the recent arrivals from the north country. These recent NW winds brought a large and diverse migration of northern species represented by our recent entries.
