OK, this one’s just for fun, since I don’t know if there is a right answer. I was trying to get a good shot of Common Redpolls at my feeder this morning, when a frosty fella showed up. But I didn’t get a good enough look or photo to say so for certain. From the quick view, it had much finer breast streaks, almost not apparent. But the bill doesn’t strike me as particularly stubby.
