[Maine-birds] Black-billed cuckoo

This is more of a general question, since it isn't a very timely report,
but I am quite confident I heard a black-billed cuckoo last week near
the Water District land in York. I had never heard or seen one before
but the song was unmistakable and my Peterson CD confirmed it for me.

Given that I had never had one before, I am wondering if this is at all
unusual? Are these common?
