[Maine-birds] This Week's Highlights, 7/6-12

Hi all,
 
Just a handful of observations of note from the past seven days included a growing cadre of shorebirds here and there, as well as:
- Continuing PRESUMED TRICOLORED HERON X SNOWY EGRET HYBRID, Spurwink Marsh, Cape Elizabeth, 7/7 (with Kristen Lindquist).
- Continuing WHITE-FACED IBIS, Eastern Road Trail, Scarborough Marsh, 7/7 (with Kristen Lindquist).  Mediocre photo at: http://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=647526625277295&set=a.561795817183710.139561.198877036808925&type=3&theater.
- Continuing Tricolored Heron, Eastern Road Trail, 7/7 (with Kristen Lindquist).
- 6 LONG-TAILED DUCKS continue, Simpson's Point, Brunswick, 7/8.
- 4+ Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, Fort Foster, Kittery, 7/9 (with Jeannette).

- 45 Wood Ducks of various ages, 1 Blue-gray Gnatcatcher, etc, Sanford Sewerage facility, 7/12.
