Looking a little haggard, a pair of Killdeer were seen working the strip of grass and ice along Route 1 northbound at the old Remsen Dodge dealership parking lot.
-- Just a stone's throw away - at York Corner Gardens (our great little, seasonal produce stand), a lone Song Sparrow was competing for volume with some red-winged blackbirds (who arrived late last week).
