[Maine-birds] Additional Highlights this Week, 2/21-2/25

 Hi all,

Some additional sightings of note from me over the past five days included:

- 20 BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS with 56 Cedar Waxwings, Terison's Orchard, Whitney Road, Cumberland, 2/21 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk group).
- 1 drake Barrow's Goldeneye continues, Eastern Promenade, Portland, 2/22 (with York County Audubon Gull Workshop group).

- 13-18 Iceland Gulls (10-15 1st-winter, 1 2nd-winter, 2 adult) and 2 Glaucous Gulls (1 1st-winter, 1 adult), Old Port, Portland, 2/22 (with York County Audubon Gull Workshop group).
- 2 SNOWY OWLS, Biddeford Pool, Biddeford, 2/22 (with Phil McCormack).
~100 BOHEMIAN WAXWINGS, circling around the store, 2/25 (spotted by Dan Nickerson).

- 2 drake Barrow's Goldeneyes continue at Winslow Park, Freeport.
- just 5 Common Mergansers are left in the small patch of open water at Grist Mill Park in Yarmouth.

-"Winter Finch" high counts this week:
Purple Finch: 3, our yard in Pownal all week.
Common Redpoll: 1, our yard in Pownal through 2/22.
Pine Siskin: 5, our yard in Pownal all week.
American Goldfinch: 28, here at the store, 2/21.
