[Maine-birds] 3/16/15 Nubble & York River

I was up at Nubble when the tide was coming in late in the afternoon but there were still quite a few ducks and gulls to see between the waves.

A fair number of Herring & Ring-billed gulls along with 3 or 4 GBB gulls. Lots of Common Eiders, more females than males, and quite a few first winter birds of both sexes.

I saw 16 Harlequins - mostly pairs, 1 male L-T Duck, 1 male Surf Scoter, and a beautiful sunset over the York River.

Hold on tightly. This wind has got to end soon!
