[Maine-birds] 50 + flock of Bohemian Waxwings in an Apple Orchard in Jay, Maine

Yesterday while walking my dog in the field, I witnessed a huge flock of 50+ Bohemian Waxwings eating left over apples from some of my trees. I hope you deem this a proper post Doug, I know you frown on posts with the word feeders in it.  This is apple trees that are over 80 years old with a ton of the natural fruit still on them. I was very surprised to see the Bohemian Waxwings eating the apples.  I knew they did eat berries, it was a first for me. I'm not sure if they hung around or not, but am hoping they do for more photos. Here is a link to some of the photos from yesterday. I hope it works, the 1st time posting from Flickr.
Happy Birding Everyone,
Ernie Hall
