Hi all,
With most of my birding time this week spent on Bradbury Mountain, my observations of note this week were limited to:
- 60 Bohemian Waxwings, Rte 1, Brunswick, 3/14 (with Saturday Morning Birdwalk group).
- 42 Bohemian Waxwings, Desert Rd, Freeport, 3/15 (with Andrew Wolfgang).
- 17+ Red Crossbills, Waterboro Barrens Preserve, Waterboro, 3/17. Voice recordings confirmed (fide Matt Young) that these were "Type 10," one of, or perhaps, the most common and regular Type in New England. Two singing males and one female that appeared to be carrying food.
- 3 Red-winged Blackbirds (FOY), Bradbury Mountain Hawkwatch, 3/20.
-Derek
