[Maine-birds] Wells Snowy Owl

Stopped at the Drakes Island Beach lot this morning and spotted, across the channel and up the dune, a snowy owl not far from the string of houses along Wells Beach. Scanned the marsh optimistically for a gyrfalcon, but did not see one.

Snow buntings, anywhere from 1 (typical) to 20, have been seen around the Wells Reserve parking lot fairly regularly over the past month or so. Bluebirds are singing most days.
