An early morning jaunt down the Tim Pond road revealed this male common merganser drifting down stream. Also, a nice look, too far for a photo, of a broad-winged hawk. A nice view on Rte. 16 of a belted kingfisher. Yellow-bellied sapsuckers were visible in lots of places, but a very noisy group of five or six were causing quite a ruckus in a hardwood ridge on the lower Horns Pond Trail.
Cheers,
Dave
