Comments: Olivia Graves of Saucier, Mississippi spent the morning heading north from MDI for Raccoon Cove and Lamoine Beach and away from MDI. The goal was photographing Semipalmated Sandpiper. Clark Cove was the first stop with mostly common species.

White-winged Scoter (Melanitta fusca) 13 this flock has been present for many weeks
Bald Eagle (Haliaeetus leucocephalus) 1 this adult bird was working the bait fish we saw the other day as were the Herring Gulls.

Comments: Olivia Graves from Saucier, Mississippi, Here we stopped with the goal of finding some activity with the Nelson's Sparrow, which we found but behavior has clearly changed from last week. There are two birds both staying close to the ground and not exposing themselves. NORTHERN WATERTHRUSH  calling from the upper marsh to the south of Nelsons .
