[Maine-birds] Night hawks along Route 5 in Lovell

Last evening at 6:45pm I headed from my house in Stoneham south on Route 5 towards Ebenezers pub in Lovell. All along Route 5 there were night hawks flying among the trees along the road. There had to have been a couple dozen in the 6 or so miles I drove. I don't recall ever seeing night hawks here before.

As I'm typing this 3 barred owls are vocalizing in my backyard...
