[Maine-birds] 8 Pine Grosbeaks /Scarborough

Hi Everyone,

   I know I may be the last to see them but I pulled into RiteAid parking lot (on Rte 1) &  Pine Point Rd. at 12:15 PM  and heard them calling!

  They were in the Crabapple trees  and on the ground foraging. No males seen.

Listening to the pleasant "tu-tu-tu" of Pine Grosbeaks as I work in my downtown Gardiner office today. There are a few across the street feeding in the crabapples beside Johnson Hall on Water St (basically Main St. except in name).
