Seasonal notes:
The PINE GROSBEAK invasion continues this week with reports from Biddeford, South Portland, Westbrook, Ellsworth, Orono, Kennebunk, Manchester, Augusta, Deer Isle, Bucksport, Belfast, Gardiner, Gorham, Scarborough, and Sedgewick. A small number of COMMON REDPOLLS were reported around the state this week.

York County

A CACKLING GOOSE was reported from Great Pond at Biddeford Pool on November 28th and continued until the 30th.

On the 27th, an ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER was reported from the Saco Yacht Club at the end of Front Street in Saco. A late NASHVILLE WARBLER was reported here on the 29th.

Greater Portland

Three NORTHERN PINTAILS were seen at Mill Cove in South Portland on the 26th.

CACKLING GEESE continue to be reported from Thornhurst Farm in North Yarmouth with up to three being seen from the 28th through the end of the week.

Kennebec River Valley (Augusta-Waterville)

On the 30th, two BARROW'S GOLDENEYES were seen with 124 COMMON GOLDENEYES below the Shawmut Dam in Fairfield.

Midcoast

An injured NORTHERN HAWK OWL was rescued from Route 125 in Topsham on the 29th.

Penobscot Bay

A WESTERN KINGBIRD was observed in Owl's Head along Route 73 on the 26th.

First seen on November 28th, Maine's fourth TOWNSEND'S WARBLER has been frequenting feeders at the end of Kaler Street in Winterport.

Downeast

Continuing from November 5th, the PINK-FOOTED GOOSE that has been frequenting the fields off Willey District Road in Cherryfield was last seen on November 28th.

Four AMERICAN WIGEONS were reported from the Somesville Pond on Mount Desert Island on the 2nd.

An ORANGE-CROWNED WARBLER has been visiting private feeders in Bar Harbor since November 30th.
