[Maine-birds] Red-bellied Woodpecker- still here on MDI, Town Hill backyard Dec 09

The Red-bellied Woodpecker does not show up every day, but he was here in the yard on Sunday.
Also in the yard, B.C. Chicks, Red-breasted and White-breasted Nuthatches, Blue Jays, Amer. Crows, Mourning Doves, Goldfinches, Brown Creepers, Hairy and Downy Woodpeckers

On Sunday in ANP, a walk up Gorham Mt which included the short distance along the loop road between the trail-head and the parking lot nearer to Otter Cliff road:
on trail: Red-breasted Nuthatch
           Golden crowned Kinglet
           Bald Eagle
along loop road in water close to shore:
          Red-necked Grebe
          Common Eiders
          Common Guillemot
          Common Loon
          Red-breasted Merganser
          Herring Gulls
