[Maine-birds] Trip to the Nubble

Beautiful, but breezy, day for a trip up the coast and to the Nubble. Saw lots of Oldsquaw (long-tailed ducks) working the surf at Long Sands, along with eiders and few white-winged scoters, a red-throated loon and a possible grebe, which we did not find in the scope.

A life bird for us was the pair of harlequin ducks bobbing about in the surf and rocks on the north side of Nubble Light. What a great find!

Thank you, Maine!
