[Maine-birds] Wigeons in Somesville

Hi all -- thanks to a tip from local birder Sam Eliot, I located 3 American Wigeons in the Somesville Pond this morning on Mt. Desert Island. Two drakes and one hen in plain sight, mingling with the winter group of Mallards and Am. Black Ducks.

Best,
Craig K

p.s. I am starting to check the inner harbor of SW Harbor for the return of our local overwintering hybrid Common Goldeneye X Hooded Merganser. No sign this morning, but I only made a hasty scan.
