Re: [Maine-birds] Thornhurst geese

Still There!  Between 9-9:30 this AM the Greater White Fronted was in the lower Thornhurst field very close to road ( Rt 115). The two Snow Geese were in the field, opposite, on the other side of  Rt 115 (gray horse arena).

One of the small, dark Cacklers and the slightly larger one were in the field across from the Animal Clinic on Greely Rd, Cumberland. If not there later, they will probably have moved to Thornhurst. Rob Speirs Cumberland

Midday Saturday I finally got the timing right after weeks of chasing wild geese.  2 Snow geese and white front remain on the south side of the road (across from Thornhurst farm proper and one cackling goose on the Farm side  I could find with binoc from the car in the rain!  Thank you to all for encouragement in this search!  Bird feeder in Cape Elizabeth remains oddly birdless this week save for one immature male cardinal.
