[Maine-birds] Sandy Point Morning Flight, 9/17 (4,000+ migrants inc 20 spp warblers, including CONNECTICUT)

Hi all,

 

Moderate northerly winds overnight turned to the northwest, resulting in an exceptional flight over and through Sandy Point Beach, Cousin's Island, Yarmouth this morning.  I'll have some radar analysis and some additional notes up on a blog tomorrow.  For now – as per Stella's request – here was the morning tally:
