[Maine-birds] Blue Grosbeak at Bailey's Island

There was a Blue Grosbeak at Lands End on Bailey's Island yesterday morning.  The bird seemed to have a bit too much blue on it to be a female so must have been a second year male.  Good numbers of early migrants were also present.  To see a photo of the grosbeak or the eBird checklist go to  http://ebird.org/ebird/massaudubon/view/checklist?subID=S23402285

Later in the afternoon there were 15 Glossy Ibis at Morse Mountain preserve.

Good birding,
tom
