A short walk with the dog along a dirt road near our home, just now, found us swarming with black flies and fly-catching birds: my FOY Black-throated Blue Warbler (singing) and American Redstart (both colorful males), as well as Black-throated Green, Northern Parula, Palm, and Yellow-rumped warblers, along with a female Baltimore Oriole and a host of the usual suspects.
