Florida Lake was hot this morning, even tho' it was cloudy and misty. At one point I was considering a 20-warbler day, but had to settle for 18. Dipped on Blackburnian, seen earlier by another birder. Other than warblers it was only a so-so morning. Only vireos Blue-headed and Warbling.
Warbler Highlights:
Wilson's Warb - 4 males, 1 female
Canada W .
Nashville W.
Tennessee W. - very high, and a short obs.
Parulas and Wilson's were focused on small birch/alder saplings, so eye level.
Don't hurry leaving pkg lot - No Waterthrush singing near there, and highly vis BTBlues
