[Maine-birds] Red-throated Loons in Flat Bay

This morning I saw five Red-throated Loons in a small group during mid-tide in Flat Bay!  We've seen one or two Red-throated Loons throughout the late winter and early spring, but 5 at a time was a real surprise.

 

The Caspian Tern is still present and spends its time with Herring Gulls - flying and sitting on favorite rocks near the shoreline.
