Warblers at Viles Arboretum in Augusta this morning included Black-throated Green, Yellow-rumped, Palm, and Pine. The most active location for me was the long, narrow pond that parallels Piggery Rd, past the boardwalk: 4 Yellow-rumps, 2 Palms, 2 Swamp Sparrows, 2 Ruby-crowned Kinglets, and a White-throated sparrow were all feeding in the shrubs or below them. Also around this morning were Wilson's Snipe and Broad-tailed Hawk. Lionel Quirion saw a Merlin and a Barred Owl.
