[Maine-birds] Banded Herring Gull -- MDI Seawall

Hi all -- minor note here, mentioning the presence of a readable-banded adult Herring Gull at Seawall Picnic Area in Acadia. Roosting and preening with a crowd of other gulls directly off the western cul de sac. 30 feet from car parking. Seen on Saturday.

The band is red with white lettering, on the left leg. Code A1A. I've submitted the sighting to the banding community.

Best,
Craig
