Hi all -- minor note here, mentioning the presence of a readable-banded adult Herring Gull at Seawall Picnic Area in Acadia. Roosting and preening with a crowd of other gulls directly off the western cul de sac. 30 feet from car parking. Seen on Saturday.
-- The band is red with white lettering, on the left leg. Code A1A. I've submitted the sighting to the banding community.
