We were surprised to see a Great Blue Heron on the partially frozen Denny's River, Rte 86 near Rte 1 Wednesday afternoon, and not long after that we saw one just east of St. Stephen, New Brunswick.
-- Near the rocky shoreline here at Cow Point (Washington County) Wally saw a Razorbill the first week of November, saw it again on Nov 17, and once more on Nov. 22. He thinks it is the same bird since it was in aprox. the same spot each time. Also off the rocks here,on Nov. 25, the first Common Goldeneye he has seen here this season.
