Re: [Maine-birds] Barnacle Lane-Black-throated Sparrow

Success at 12:45 p.m.  The bird spent several minutes on the ground under the feeder.  I got several passable photos.  It was hanging out with Tree Sparrows and Juncos.  When we checked earlier (ca. 10:00), few birds were at the feeder and no sparrows of any kind.   When the bird finally appeared, the sparrows and juncos all arrived together.  Mourning Doves (35-40) seem to monopolize the spot, so nothing else was there while they fed.  It was after they left that other birds began to arrive.

Go up Ocean Heights Drive, the road immediately west of Hillcrest, and you will see Barnacle Lane on the right . It's a short dead end spur. #13 is about 1/2 down on the left. The feeders are visible from the intersection with Ocean Heights. Good luck!

I've found Hillcrest Dr., in Winter Harbor, but I can't find Barnacle Lane on a map.  Where is it?

Thanks,
